Misleading information regarding Food/Fashion Voucher-Incentiv
I bought my phone at Vodaworld Midrand on 02 November 2019. I was given a Food/Fashion Voucher worth R2500 and the consultant that gave me the voucher advised that the voucher will only expire once i send a pin code to the number 47900. She said i will receive the sms that will indicate which stores i can redeem the voucher and also the expiry date of the voucher.
I send an sms on 19 November 2019 and didn't receive any sms back. I then phoned the number at the back of the card *** and i was told there's nothing they can do from their side and i need to go back to Vodaworld to sort out this issue as they are the one's issued the voucher.
I went to Vodaworld on four different occasions and dealt with they guy called Kelvin and a lady called Neo. On all occasions they told me the issue has been escalated to their marketing team and they will revert back to me, which they never did. My last visit to Vodaworld was on Friday 29 Nov 2019 and i met with Lee who is in the marketing team and apparently have been dealing with my query. She apologized for inconvenience and mentioned that there's nothing she can do from Vodacom side as the vouchers are from the 3rd party and redemption period has expired.
I would like to know why am i being so mislead by Vodacom/Incentiv. Clearly someone gave me the wrong information about this voucher and now none of the two companies is prepared to take ownership of this.
