Misleading contract renewal experience
On June 4th, I visited the Vodacom branch at Cresta to cancel my contract, which was nearing expiration. However, the representative assisting me called a colleague to discuss my case over the phone. Instead of cancelling my contract, the colleague convinced me to sign up for a new contract worth R1544 without my full understanding. Today, at the Vodacom store at Maponya Mall, I discovered that my SIM card had been changed to a home internet package, and I'm now unable to receive or make calls as it was converted to a router card number. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the way my contract was handled, and I would like to request immediate resolution to this issue.
