MISLEADING AND ************* BUSINESS

Be careful for Vodacom's Vodacom Direct sales persons. Some of them are a bunch of chancers. On 10 October I received a call explaining that I am due for an upgrade on my 5gig data on number ********** 2.. and that my existing contract will expire in Nov. 2018. I've also been told that the upgrading will cost me less and the data can now been transferred to the following months without losing it. I've also been told that I will received a router small as a keyholder (Note here Keyholder) and I can use it as keyholder. I found that a bit strange because how small is the battery then, but I decided to accept the offer of upgrading. YES UPGRADING NOT NEW ADDITIONAL CONTRACT On my question if I will keep the existing number I once again has been mislead by informing me no and also this I found strange. Why is it that I cannot keep my number. Because the existing contract is a 5gig top up I, on receipt of the package today 12 Oct 18, contacted their after sales to get confirmation that the upgrading will also be the top up option and also to confirm if my existing contract will expire as soon as I activate the upgrading. This is where I got the shock when I found out that "No Sir the contract will carry on because the 5gig is a additional new contract and not a upgrade". They are welcome to go back to our recorded conversation on the 10th. This misleading way of doing business is so upsetting that I now consider my relationship with Vodacom after probably 15 years if I'm not mistaken with the period. How can I ever trust them again? I arranged with them (I think it is Mila if the spelling is correct) that due to Vodacom's ***** way of doing business they must cancel this contract and arrange for collection of package. Be assure if Vodacom dare to activate the uncalled additional contract and activate any deduction on my bank account I will not hesitate to lodge a ***** case against them. BE WARNED!!! In the mean time the unwanted package is ready for collection.

Oemph!!!! and so it goes on. Can Vodacom explain why do we as their clients always have to battle to settle problems they created. I received this morning (15.10.18) a phone call from Vodacom probably to explain themselves. Unfortunately I could not take the call and asked the guy to phone me back but "silence is golden". When I checked with the accounts department they confirmed that this uncalled for new contract has been loaded on my account under the number ********** 9888. This means that they just carry on as if I never cancelled their ********** actions. This means that they proceed with debit order deduction when time comes. OK do so, but remember I will see this as THEFT and will proceed with the necessary action through Legal Wise and will demand interest on the amount you will deduct and at the same time report a theft case against the Vodacom staff member who initiate this deduction. What part do they not understand that the contract must be cancelled and I should not have to wait for the debit order also to be cancelled. The question is what do Vodacom do with their employees who do such misleading transactions. Do we have to tolerate them day by day and has to fight over and over again to rectify their mess?
