Misleading and overcharging customers

We have had a phone contract with Vodacom for 36 months and immediately when it ended a consultant called us to say we need to keep the number on the network by paying R60 every month, and if we dont the number will be recycled and we will need to get a new one. Seeing that, the number was linked to so many things we decided to pay but in actual fact they were supposed to advice us to take the number to prepaid. Months down the line now we are getting overcharged ridiculous amounts of R800, R500 and we getting no explanations as why other than that we might have taken airtime advance or something by that time Vodacom only capped the airtime advance to R180. We were in a process of getting to the bottom of the overcharging when Vodacom deactivated the number and shortly after the phone in question was lost therefore we needed to blacklist it but to our surprise Vodacom had already recycled the number in less than a month after it was deactivated, according to them the number gets recycled after 3 months...us going back and forth with them as we need to finalise our insurance claim they decide to hand over the account in question to a third party CoConnect so they avoid giving us answers and receipts. Now their third party is not answering or getting back to us, Vodacom gave us wrong email address to contact them, when we call via Vodacom to connect us with them their phone is always on automated voicemail which says they are unavailable their working hours are between 8am and 8pm but whatever time you call they are not available. Firstly vodacom cunsultant mislead us into taking the R60 thingy which we never knew if it was for a life time or what..secondly they failed to provide us with evidence of the overcharging, thirdly there was no communication from them regarding anything, we only finding all this information because we were blacklisting a lost phone. Now theres no hope that they are willing to help us in anyway because no one is making an effort even when we try. We paid for insurance so when unfortunate events arises we are able to be helped but Vodacom is making that hard for us...our claim might be closed since we cant provide the ICT number that they require, why? Because Vodacom is playing with theur customers..misleading them and overcharging to not putting them first. I am very disappointed to the service i have received...i contacted them on Twitter as well and still nothing is happening.
