Mislead to get more out of me

I bought a phone (contract)with vodacom last year May. My monthly premium as per my contract was R498 pm. My contract benefits were 650 MB day time and 650MB night owl no airtime. I then received a call mid October last year from Vodacom a lady offered me a deal to swap my data for airtime R400 since I don't really use the data I receive because I have access to Wifi at home and at work during the day. I then asked her "will my monthly premium change with this update"? She answered "No it won't change we are just giving you a better deal since we can see that you don't really use the data we give you every month" End of November R730 was debited from my account and I received the R400 airtime. In December I then went to the local Vodacom store where I initially bought the phone, they told me did a migration. I then told them that the agent that contacted me didn't say anything about my premium increasing. They then suggested I phone customer care to do a migration cancelation and tell them that I was mislead by one of the agents.

On the 7th of December I phoned and I was told my case would be escalated I should wait 7 to 14 working days for a call from the cancelation department. I didn't not receive a call. I phoned again on the 27 of December and an agent said the same thing that my case has been escalated.

I then phoned again on the 2 January 2025 and I got escalated and spoke to an agent who was very understanding and helpful. She gave me a reference number and said I should wait for 5 working days and I will receive an sms for my cancelation. I didn't not receive any sms. I phoned again yesterday following up on my case and I got was given another reference number.

I cannot afford R730 pm as a premium hence I asked the agent from the onset about the premium increasing. I was truly mislead. I am not sure why Vodacom isn't taking my case into consideration because it is totally unfair to delay the case mean while the debit order continues. I have never missed a payment, I am saddened by the treatment I am receiving from Vodacom.
