Misinformed by Vodacom
I had a contract that came to an end in September. I enquired in August at Vodashop in Somerset Mall, and was informed that if I did not want to continue with the contract, I could let it lapse and continue on a month-to-month basis, without there being any change, which was supposed to refer to the price as well. I received my new account, and the amount was x2 the previous month. On enquiry at Vodashop, they just shrugged, and said I could cancel or take out a new contract. Not only misinformed, but totally lacking in empathy and understanding. Appears as if Vodacom only interested in driving profit through selling contracts.

13 Oct 2022, 14:36When I contacted the supposed number that Vodacom supp****, I was informed that I can upgrade, meaning I can convert to the old contract, but that it was too late to reduce the higher payment, and the reduced payment would only kick in 1 December - and we are only at 13 October! A total rip-off!
