Misinformed and unhelped

I have been a vodacom client for many years, these past 2 months i have had the worst service imaginable! I had to visit 5 different vodacom stores multiple times just to get a sim swop done, when i finally found one with stock, it took 2weeks for my sim swop to be activated!

Now i am trying to upgrade 2contracts, both on my name, the stores in my area (Polokwane) do not have stock of the devices available on the packages i want to upgrade to. Yesterday i was promised, guaranteed that stock will be coming in today, alas, no stock! So i tried opting for alternative devices and alternative (more expensive packages)

After discussing the options with the sales person (Prince Phiri at vodacom4u, savannah mall, Polokwane) i wrote down on a piece of paper the options discussed to ensure i clearly understood the deals discussed, he confirmed and went on to start processing the upgrades. When i received the quotation it was double the price per contract than discussed!

I wanted a device (sony xp/samsung j5/ samsung A5) with 2GB data for under R300pm, on a top up option.

When asking the sales consultant to clarify the misunderstanding he said, he misunderstood my request, what is my suggestion for the solution to this problem. He understands that if i want to close my contract and move to another service provider. Convenient. Thanks for your concern. Even after writing down exactly what i wanted, and confirming that this deal includes a device(uchoose flexi 200 R139pm plus 2GB recurring data R109pm = R248pm) the quotation i received was R556pm for one contract!

I asked to speak to the manager, Tsepho, who is unavailable, he does not answer his phone or return my calls. He was not in the store.

I am now left misinformed, frustrated and still have not been able to upgrade my contracts! I honestly do not want to move service providers, but am I going to be forced to? Vodacom, please help!

Looking forward to hearing from you very soon please!

Concerned customer

Meson Verreynne

********** 890

Hi Vodacom,
Unfortunately a consultant has not yet contacted me. Your cancellation department was very helpful though, so I have successfully cancelled all three my contracts with vodacom, what a shame.
I know I'm just a tiny fish in your ocean of clients, so my complaint or cancellation will not affect you, I just hoped that your client service and reputation was worth what you claim it to be.
Have a great festive season,
Kind regards
Meson
