Misinformed
My mum called to cancel her contract advising that she is a pensioner. The consultant Zwele advised her that there is a pensioner package which apparently there is no such thing just the cheapest contract for the next 24 months was given based on the fact she was with Vodacom for 30 years. I went to the Vodacom store in menlyn today to sort this out. What is the point of a store if you can’t do any service related to the account. My mum has to phone the cancellation department to cancel a contract which she wanted initially. I think Vodacom is *********** customers. By the way for a sim swap is R63 and data transfer is R180 - that’s ridiculous!!!!

21 May 2019, 17:55So called cancellations now, SR has been logged as well as escalated to admin including the agent that assisted with change in contract. Kindly have the contract cancelled as well move the cellphone to prepaid.
