Minus 5 stars!!!

Vodacom contacted me during March to offer a migration to a different "contract/ package" that made perfect sense and would have really added value to my life, I was pleasantly surprised with this solution and offer. This migration would have taken effect as from 1 May, this proved to be a fairy tale. Someone at Vodacom did not process this and I was left having to spend additional money on airtime and data, in my opinion this is unfair. I understand that mistakes happen and I accepted the explanation/ excuse. I accepted the solution suggested that Vodacom can only implement the migration in June. However I refused to accept that Vodacom was not prepared to offer a solution in the mean time that would suit both parties, I even suggested that we meet each other halfway. This was also a complete waste of time. What really upset me is that it was expected of me to just continue buying airtime and data and not one of the 8/ 9 people that I spoke to helped and to add to this nightmare I made SIX CALLS to Vodacom in one afternoon with one call lasting ONE HOUR AND TWENTY SIX MINUTES WITH NO RESOLUTION!!! I pay a lot on my bill every month but the minute I ask for a solution to a problem that was not my fault in any way it was purely from Vodacom's side I am left with only the reminder that as a consumer I will continue to spend hard earned money to just be walked over and treated as nothing to be concerned about. Strange how Vodacom can get away with anything and expect me to understand and accept a mistake or error on their side but come debit order time the systems to collect my money never fails or makes a mistake...
