My Vodacom cell phone contract was started by my father when I was in University and did not have a permanent job. The contract has therefore been in his name since its inception. A few weeks ago I decided that I needed the contract to be in my name, so I went to my local Vodacom store to have the contract moved into my name. After completing a few documents and providing Vodacom with proof of residence, employment, pay slips, 3 months bank statements, proof of a credit card and a copy of my ID, they declined my request due to me not meeting the minimum requirements. I want to know what the minimum requirements are and why I did not meet them.
