migration of packages.. a nightmare

Beginning of March I phoned vodacom to migrate my package from Red VIP to Flexi 500 package simply beacuse i never used all the minutes that i was allocated everymonth. i paid the R4100 migration fee and this will be effective 01/04/2017 they said. this morning i realised that i wasnt able to make calls or have internet connection. i checked my balance on the selfservice and to my surprise i had R500 everymonth airtime and 0.00 data, yesterday i had at least 200megs of data and about 800 talk time minutes. i phoned them and was told that my number is currently undergoing the migration and the new package is effective tomorrow, some of the things have been done but still in the process, this can take an hour or more they cannot confirm but should keep trying. i did a few minutes ago and see that i have internet connection and i can receive calls. the problem is i am alredy being charged on the new package that is supposed to commence tomorrow the 1st, and my data that i had yesterday has disappeared and being charged data costs for this morning on the R500 that has been allocated, the current balance is R496.01 which is for the internet connection since i do not have data, the data that i bought has misteriously disappeared. what i would liike to know is why should i pay for today on the old package if i am alreday disconnected and they can just "*****" my data, this is ********* way of doing business. I was never told that i will forfiet whatever i had on the last day of the month. all i want is vodacom to allocate my data that they stole from me and they can keep the minutes that they also stole from me.
