Merry bad Xmas, Vodacom

I had a contract with Vodacom which expired over a year ago but continued on a monthly basis. Ever since loadshedding started the service deteriorated, trying to connect it either said no internet or when I got connected it was so slow I couldn't even read the news. A speed test showed between 2 and 5 Mbps. I phoned to cancel the service but the consultant told me the old mobile router was the problem and persuaded me to get a new router on a 2 year contract. She said all I had to do was take the sim out of the old router and put it in the new one. She ****. Firstly the sim was a different size, we had to make it smaller to fit in new router, then strange options appeared, asking for this and that to be punched in. We are 2 old people with nobody to help us. Various calls to Vodacom got me transferred from one person to another until I gave up and told them to collect their router and cancel the deal. The sim now being smaller won't connect in the old router and I have no connection at all now. Fantastic service, Vodacom, you ruined my Christmas. To put the cherry on the top are you going to charge me for cancellation? Two old people lliving on a pension? To pay for false information supp**** by your consultant?
