Managing Director

I have continuously calls from Vodacom / Agents representing Vodacom or or businesses selling Vodacom products. I have received multiple calls on my cell phone, whereby agents want to sell me another cell, more data packages, Viber etc. The agent I spoke today, said he represents Vodacom. When asked where he got my number from, he rep**** to Vodacom as he is an agent from Vodacom. I have never given Vodacom to share my personal information. Yet agents confirm Vodacom gave them the list.

What happened to the POPPI . Vodacom seem to laugh in the face of this act sharing personal details to teams to sell and make then more MONEY. I want to know, who said you can share my information when specifically completing your documents, stipulating NO. And Is Vodacom content in aligning itself with agents who get, steel information so they can sell more for Vodacom. You cannot say you don't as the agents sell Vodacom packages. Who gave you the right to violate my rights by allowing violators of a South African Act, POPPI act, to sell your product.

I am convinced Vodacom laughs in the face of this ACT as it is not efficiently enforced. Money vs South Africans rights, we know what Vodacom choices.

Aggrieved current client for over 30 years. Maybe I / We should be looking for a legally compliant and considerate Service provide.

Shame on you Vodacom, Shame on you.

PS: your ******* number used to call me once again can be shared once approval is received. ...At least I consider the ACT

Irritated Client.
