Manager - Vodacom Video Play - arrogance
I just had the most unpleasant discussion with a Manager from Vodacom I believe his name is Bair Mosinee, the Manager of the Vodacom Video Play channel, at least that is what I was told his name was. I called him to simply enquire if Vodacom accept movie submissions from producers in SA for their new Vodacom Video Play channel. Is that such a horrific question or such a difficult question to answer? All the man had to say was "no, we don't accept unsolicited submissions of movies" at least that would be what you would expect from a well mannered man working in a managerial position. Instead he put the phone down on me as I was trying to pronounce his surname. I then sms'd him explaining very briefly what I was inquiring about. His responses where arrogant in fact so much so that I decided to BLOCK him, which I did. HOWEVER, he still had the audacity to respond to my phone even though I BLOCKED HIS NUMBER???? How dare you.
Bair, or whatever you name is, firstly your arrogance is completely uncalled for. Kindly remember you are a manager not the Managing Director. In fact I believe Mr. Ashraff Paruk is the managing executive of digital services at Vodacom and not you although your attitude certainly seemed to suggest you owned the company. Also, kindly remember that it is people like me who have Vodacom accounts that contribute to your salary being paid each month. If you are this abrupt and arrogant to a customer/client heaven help your staff.
Also note, people like me are trying to open up new businesses in SA to get people work and arrogant, unprofessional, people like you are a hindrance. Manners, manners, manners, I don't care who you are or what position you hold, have some manners when speaking to people. Also kindly note: being Irish I can't pronounce some African or foreign names correctly and for you to take umbrage at how I was trying to pronounce your surname is without a doubt rudeness from your side.
Sincerely Janice
