Making amends goes a long way

Hi,

I am interested to know what Vodacom customer care policy is regarding "making amends" in some way when a customer has spent sixteen years trying to resolve an issue that was caused by a clerical error on the part of Vodacom. This clerical error resulted in the customer being blacklisted, harassed and threatened by debt collectors and humiliated, despite not owing any money and having been issued with a very curt letter stating that the matter had been closed.

Vodacom was very quick to accuse the customer of reneging on the debt. Very quick to call in the debt collectors. Very quick to blacklist. But there has never been any apology to the customer for the emotional trauma caused by the above. No apology for falsely blacklisting the customer and so causing further problems for the customer. No apology for the trauma if dealing with fairly nasty threats from at least two different debt collectors.

This is my experience of Vodacom. It hasn't been a good one.

So I am curious as to what customer care means at Vodacom.
