On18/3/16 MTN tried to do a port. At 14:30 received message from Vodacom \Your request to leave network was rejected. Reason-\" No reason given. Phoned support and was emailed ref ***.

I tried numerous time to try find out the reason. Was told that my number was still on contract. Was told that there is a clause in contract stating I have to wait 3 months. I was told that I am now on the new system and need to be put on old system to allow porting.

Was given 3CD number *** and told to speak to a consultant. On 29/3/16 @ 11:30 I spoke to a consultant requesting the I be moved back to the old system. I was told that it would take 2 days and I would get a sms. On 1/4/16 @ 11:50 phoned again. Told no request was logged. They would try again.

Got hold of Porting today. No record of any requests. They will send email today. Wait 48 - 72 hours.

Same story every time. \"Wait 48-72 hours\". Phone back \"Sorry no record\". Vodacom is so desperate to hold on to disgruntled clients that they, literally, make it impossible to port out. Why do I have to keep chasing this up? Why can I not speak to the person who can actually help? Stop the excuses and fix the system! "
