Loyalty doesn't mean anything, Its all about the money for Vodacom!

Elizna Hofmeyr 17:50 (3 minutes ago) to VBCancellations, customercare

Good afternoon Vodacom,

I have been a very good and loyal client.

My contract expired in June 2021, however I have continued to pay for your services. A quick match box calculation will reflect that for 41 months (out of contract) I have paid your company over R 15 000.00 for 200 SMS's, 75MG data and 200 minutes. I have asked if I can cancel my subscription and the monthly payments are really exorbitant and I dont not even pay for a brand new phone.

Your Consultants are not willing to give me a discount but yet insited and are forcing me to pay another R 427 because the bill has already been generated and it cannot be amended. This just cannot be true for a big company like vodacom. You are able to waive amounts and make discounts, the payment is not even due yet.

However, I was also offered another month to month package (to keep my number?) if I pay R 28, I will then get 1GB data and 250 minutes for R 137.49. This equates to R 165 for a similar package than the one I am paying.

To top it all off I have been paying for R 200 SMS's (out of contract) for 41 months. Please go and check if I even used these SMS's. I would like a refund on this service as it is something I have not even been using.

With all of this said, I really find it hard to believe that Vodacom will force clients to pay unreasonable amounts and not take into consideration a clients profile. I am not willing to pay another R 427 when I can pay R 165. Vodacom is really not being reasonable and I will tell everyone to please not go to vodacom. You guys are unreasonable, force clients to pay even more than the service is worth, its blatant ******ion to make more money. Does a good profile and loyalty not mean anything anymore? Its all about the money!

Please can your CEO contact me to discuss this matter urgently.

Thank you ***
