Loyal customers mean fkall to Vodacom! You disconnect a number for no reason. Ridiculous
My mother's number has been deactivated without warning. They claim due too inactivity but she calls and smses almost daily, and recharged R110 airtime a few days before it was deactivated. No sms was received, this was done without warning. And apparently the number has been reassigned even though she reported it the day it was deactivated. All her airtime gone, all connected to her confidential info like banking and medical aid. Give her number and airtime back! She's had it more than 30 years! We're utterly disgusted! Customer care was no ****** help, wait 7 business days? Seriously

03 Jul 2020, 13:40Luckily the regional manager got involved thanks to a connection through a personal friend. After about 2 weeks the number was returned and additional services given as an apology, after it had been assigned to someone else they luckily got it back. Apparently a lot of numbers were suddenly cancelled without warning. I hope whoever messed up doesn't cause such chaos again.
