Low Level Service at Vodacom Pavilion
Last year in September I gave Vodacom in Pavilion documents to change my surname on my account. On 1st February I went to the IStore to do an upgrade since Vodacom said that they cannot get the handset in the preferred colour. I was told by the Istore in Pavilion that my details have not been changed so I went to the Vodacom store to see if they could update my details or give me a copy of my marriage certificate. I was told that all documents have been sent to update and that the consultant no longer has the hard copy.
When I spoke to the manager Triven, he told me that he will order the handset in the colour that I wanted and will have it delivered by Tuesday 4th February and also said that he will cancel the upgrade fee. Being upset, we decided to just leave it, but then decided to go back and take up the offer. When I spoke about the delivery, he denied offering to deliver the handset, although the promise was made in the presence of his manager Bradley.
So it looks like Vodacom Pavilion is not really interested in assisting their clients. Thankfully I managed to get a copy of my marriage certificate and successfully upgraded at the Istore.
It is really sad that companies treat their clients in this manner.
