lost on a job opportunity because of Vodacom

I currently work as a security guard in Durban. after some time saving up, I got myself a code 14 license and was interviewed for a drivers internship at Checkers on 22/01/2015. i was informed the following day that i was not successful because I do not pay my Vodacom accounts. I was surprised because i have never had a contract with vodacom and all accounts are up to date. i called vodacom and i was transferred to a lot of places. i then got a call from vodacom on 06/02/2015 saying that i owe amounts on a phone i took a year ago on 14/02/2014. <br> 1.I have never had any form of contract with Vodacom<br> 2.Vodacom say i owe them R17,000.00<br> 3.Vodacom say I earn R16,000.00 but i earn less than R5000.00 a month<br> 4.Vodacom dont want to call my employer and verify my employment and salary<br> 5.Vodacom say i opened the account in Sandton and dont want to listen to the fact that i am in Durban and have never been to Sandton<br> 6.why did vodacom not close the phone when it was not being paid<br> 7.why did they not call me and waited for a year <br> 8what address are they sending the statements to - because the ********* must have provided proof of address!<br> <br> PLEASE CLEAR MY NAME MY LIFE IS AFFECTED BY INCOMPETEN
