Lost Documents

I completed a vetting form and submitted copy of ID, 3 months bank statement, pay slip and proof of address 2/6/2015. Was told will get feedback within 4 to 48 hour. No feedback for two weeks. On enquiry was told system shows missing docs. On follow-up enquiry was told system shows ********** application. About three weeks into process was told that I have to start process again as someone stole my documents from Pieter/ Peter's drawer. Took it up with manager who had no intention of taking Pieter/ Peter to task and to enquire about my ****** docs. On my insistence he agreed to do that and get back to me, which did not happen. You lost important docs of mine + indication of a ********** application/ transaction on your system = have my docs been used for a ********** activity? How can such important docs disappear from a staff member's drawer?
