Lost all trust in Vodacom

During September 2019 I was interested in the Vodacom fibre 50mbs deal that was at the time R949 per month. I already had an account with Vodacom, linked to my employer's corporate contract. I was told that they could not create a separate account. I was concern that my employer could end up getting billed and asked to rather not go ahead any further. I was assured that this would be fine. So at this point no instillation or service was ever provided. Forward 4 years later on 7 August 2023 they started debiting me R949 for a service that was never provided. I did contact Vodacom Fibre who assured me on the 7 August 2023 that the matter would be resolved. On the 13 November 2023 I received a phone call from Vodacom legal to say that I am in arrears and if they can go ahead and debit the now R2800 from my account or do I wish to do this in instalments. I asked the person from legal to please explain where the R2 800 stems from. He could not provide me the details and asked if I could phone 082 135 and provide the service department the account number he gave me. Frustratingly I had to contact Vodacom Fibre again with not much trust that this issue is going to be resolved.

After I was given the impression that the issue has been resolved I still received phone calls from Vodacom legal on the 18th, 22nd and 23rd November 2023 requesting payment of the R2847.03.
