Lost Air Time

I am using as SIM card in my WI Fi device that was at one stage a pre paid SIM card in a cellphone. This used to have some air time on it, that, when I checked my data balance, had mysteriously disappeared. On Friday 19 February, I called Vodacom and explained the situation to them and asked them to investigate. I was told that a WASP called world play had been making daily deductions on the SIM card. Vodacom acknowledged that there was no way that I could have authorized such a deduction as the SIM card is passive, similar to what would be found in a gate motor or a data controller. The WASP was immediately removed and I was promised a call back within 48 hours. This did not happen. My air time was also not returned to me. Vodacom have an obligation to their valued customers to ensure that such transgressions are blocked. Just as your money in the bank should be safe, so too your data and air time. NO procedures are in place to prevent such abuse and Vodacom, while removing the WASP, simply do not seem to care for the loss suffered from deductions they allowed. This is simply not acceptable.
