LONG STANDING DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER

I have been with Vodacom for more than 20 years.I had 3 contracts with them that was expiring end Dec 2022.Due to financial constraints and the really terribly service ,I had decided to cancel 2 of my contacts and put my primary number onto prepaid. My nightmare started on the 8th Nov 2022,I had to make numerous phone calls and spoke to these people 1.Jewell Rigney 2.Tokoza Mzianyane 3.Qualan Devee 4.Ntokozo Mtimba 5.Ronell Govender. Despite mentioning several times, I want to cancel 2 of my 3 contracts and put my primary number onto prepaid, they put me on different contacts and kept sending me quotations. On the 02Dec 2022 I called in again and spoke to Vanessa Naidoo, who thankfully assisted me by canceling the new contracts and put my primary number on prepaid.Come January 2023, I decided to go with FNB. I went to the Hayfields branch on the 11 Jan 2023,Lindiwe assisted me.Got my new sim and tried to port my number, was told it will take approx 24hrs. 48hrs later, still nothing. So I went back to the bank on 14Jan 2023 to see what was the delay. Was assisted by Nobile, who said that the port failed because Vodacom declined it.I thereafter went to the Woodburn Vodacom for assistance.I explained my problem to Timothy,he said he cannot help me,I must go to Liberty Mall Vodacom for assistance and that they will only assist me from Mon to Fri. On 16Jan 2023,I went to Vodacom Shop at Liberty, explained my problem to Ayanda Mbanjwa, that Vodacom denied my port and I wanted assistance. He laughed at me and said ,yes we do that to keep the customer. What nonsense is this. I then went to Vodacom 4U.I once again had to explain my dilemma to Belinda. She got on the phone to porting dept and was told to send an email requesting the port. She sent the email immediately,I was told the turnaround time is 24hrs. Its Wed 18Jan 2023,still nothing. This morning I called Vodacom Shop, spoke to Nolene Singh, her response was come into store but cannot help you.Why is Vodacom not releasing my number.I am soo very disappointed with the non service. This is how you treat your customers that has been loyal to you for over 20 years.Very sad indeed. This kind of non service makes me feel that I made the right decision to leave Vodacom. Now I just need someone who actually takes Customer Service seriously to please please assist in releasing my number so that I can port my number and be done with Vodacom.
