Loadshedding = no Vodacom!

Every time there is load shedding Vodacom stops working altogether (not even emergency calls available) in my area (Eshowe, KZN). A query to the Call Centre informed me that some areas do not have adequate backup generator systems for their masts and that the problem is being rectified but could take "a couple of months". None of the other cell companies have this problem! Please explain.

Thank you but that doesn't explain why the other networks in my area don't have the same problem and why I should stick with Vodacom instead of moving to another one.
