I had 2(two) contracts running concurrently with one expiring in June 2014 and the other in January 2015. After being retrenched in November 2013 and I have been in contact with Vodacom, constantly for most of 2014, to cancel my accounts and settle my contract for both lines and to also informed them of my retrenchment but got declined due to my account being in arrears.

On the 30th May 2014, I finally paid outstanding funds from Vodacom Store in Centurion Mall and requested for my contract to be discontinued and only the one expiring in January to also be cancelled for me to settle but was told to wait until the next day (1st June) to do my cancellations by for the funds to reflect on their system. On the 1st June 2014, I went to a Vodacom Store at Kolonnade Mall to do as requested but was told that my account was in arrears with June's balance and to mail my payment receipt of which I did. I was told I didn't give notice of discontinuation.

Then I got received mail with a settlement amount to pay even though my account was arrears. Double standards!!!

When I called Vodacom, calls are dropped and supervisors are rude. Now I get calls from VVM requesting payment.

Paid 2 much
