Limiting a paid for service

I bought a sms bundle for an alarm system, and I was never advise that the services only available for a limited period, I find it hard to understand how they can limit this period as this is for things paid for in cash, I do not think it is legal to put a time limit on something as simple as a sms, Is this against the law?
Then I was told sorry for you but it is on the terms and conditions, that is no where to be read in the store nor was I informed by the consultant nor did I receive an sms as I was so politely told.
How is one suppose to get an sms on an alarm system????
Well in order to try and sort this out just took another 2 hours out of my day and I still did not speak to anybody who could help me, the very competent person Micheal kept me on the phone listening to all the background noise of his office making funny noises in my ear while I was holding, and then advise me that the legal department only work with contracts...How difficult can it be to speak to someone that actually cares and not a consultant that sits and wait for just another pay day, is there a head office to talk to, does Vodacom have competent managers to assist their staff??? Is Vadacom Theives

I called you earlier, however you were unreachable, therefore I left a voicemail and sent feedback via email.
