Lies Lies Lies

I am appaled at the service Vodacom have given me.

One year ago I recieved an SMS saying that my platinum status had been renewed for a year. I was not aware of ever being a platinum provider. But after several phone calls and being routed from one department to another, I finally was told by a Vodacom agent that I was now a platinum customer and that one of the benefits was being able to get a new handset every year. I was very excited about this as I could now give my son a phone.

I was never told that by getting a new handset I would effectively be renewed for another 2 years. Something I would not have done if I was given the alternative.

I only realised this when I wanted to check when my contract was up for renewal. And disvovered that I was not liable to Vodacom until 2017.

I have now received an SMS saying that my platinum status has not been renewed again and I am now stuck with Vodacom until 2017. With no explantion as to why and what changed?

This is unnaceptable as I never once was told that I would be in my contract for another 2 years otherwise I would never have made that choice.

Vodacom **** to me and I now have no new handset, no premium service and I am stuck in a contract that I was would never have had.

The one guarentee I have is that based on this service, I will be moving myself and my company's personal contracts off Vodacom ASAP
