Lies and deceit from Vodacom on top of poor service

In August I duly renewed my cellphone contract at Vodacom with a slightly cheaper option. My previous contract had come with an LG phone plus a "free" phone. I did not want or need the "free" phone but was told I must take it as it is part of the package and does not cost anything. This phone has not been used and is sitting in the spare cupboard. I was told by Mabel of the Fourways Mall, my present August 2020 contract replaced the 2018 contract. Last night the 1st invoice for the Samsung A31 arrived which included an extra R108.70 charge for airtime for the "free" phone. The Vodacom staff that I spoke to from contracts, cancellations and finally Baify Makhubele from accounts were so apathetic and just could not care. I must pay that extra amount for September and October until the end of my contract - I had no contract on a "free" phone?? This is *****. I live in a retirement village and this is a lot of money to me. This is shocking and a disgrace.
