**** To, Price Discrepancies and Still Awaiting my Upgrade Phone

After wanting to cancel my Vodacom account in April 2018 due to three months of massive data bills, I was convinced by your retentions department to keep my account at Vodacom. I happily obliged. I was migrated to a more cost effective package and told telephonically that I could do an upgrade at any time thereafter without having to go through an application process or applying for a new line/number - I was **** to! My phone completely died a short while after that. I went into a Vodacom store to upgrade and I was told that I was actually "upgraded" and not "migrated" which meant that I could only do an upgrade in 2020. After two weeks of numerous calls to to your upgrades department and dealing directly with a team leader (who eventually completely evaded me), I managed to get my "upgrade" reversed. I immediately went online, checked the deals which I could upgrade to, which phone I wanted and contacted the online department ( ********** 4) to do the upgrade. I decided to do it through the online channel to avoid paying the R150 admin fee which I would've paid at the Vodacom store. I chose the deal which I wanted and the consultant then offered me a great deal which I couldn't refuse. I happily accepted the deal. I confirmed the deal with your confirmations department and I was told that the courier would deliver my phone two days later. It didn't arrive. I phoned to follow up on day 3 and was told that they actually have 7 days to deliver my phone, so I should wait and check the courier website to see if the status changed. On the 8th day, my husband phoned to see what was happening and he was told that there was a price difference on the invoice which didn't match up with the deal I was offered, so because of the price discrepancy on the back end of the system, my new phone couldn't be released. So a new order was generated, but when I received the SMS, it was +-R70 more than the original price quoted on the original SMS. I contacted the sales consultant who helped me and was told that that was another system error and that I now had to pay the increased price for this deal. I was not thrilled about this at all, but desperately needed a new phone, so I agreed to this. I missed the confirmations department telephone call. I then phoned back, the consultant said that they would send an email to the confirmations department to call me again, which they did not do. I called three times more the next working day to plead with them to please call me back to confirm the deal so that I could receive my phone. Eventually I received a call, only to find out that the terms of the deal were not the same as what was originally agreed upon on my initial upgrade call (ie. the airtime, SMS's and data differed completely - the whole package was completely different.) So the confirmations consultant said that she would send my pending deal back to the sales consultant to call me back. I was supposed to receive a phone call from this specific consultant yesterday at 11:00 as he was going to follow up on the deal anyway. Still no call. So he didn't follow through with his follow up promise AND my pending deal is sitting in his queue (which is clearly being ignored.) I have reached the end of my tether at this point and I immediately need someone senior at Vodacom to act upon this before losing me as a client. I wanted to send an email directly to Vodacom, but it seems that contact option is no longer available. I have consultant names, times, telephone numbers and reference numbers to support my complaint which I will happily share with Vodacom. I await your response.
