**** to by Vodacom "Customer Care" now paying the price

Please help with this. I have been a Vodacom customer for over 20 years. I was on a Red Premium package with a reduced subscription discount due for upgrade in October 2019. I received an SMS inviting me to upgrade or continue on a month to month. I phoned customer care and ASKED if month to month would remain the same and was told YES. Not needing a new deal I decided to continue on that basis. Come February my bill no longer has the subscription discount so now more than double. I phone customer care again and get told that the reduced subscription fell away because I didn't upgrade. They propose a new package and promise to escalate and reduce the February bill if I take it. I agree. I ask for a reference and the consultant tells me he has to email for the reduction and will provide the reference "later". I get no call and the February bill is still due. I phone customer care 5 times since then to get told they must speak to the same consultant H. Mhlongo on ***. I call that number and get "Elite Mobile" who say they know nothing about me. By the way I did't call Elite Mobile before I phoned Vodacom Customer Care on 082111. Now it looks like I am going to get billed R 1912.16 instead of R 699.92 for February because a consultant who doesn't even work directly for Vodacom but operate s off their customer care number **** to me. I should have cancelled and I certainly will now.

VODACOM PLEASE NOTE. I have received no email at all from you. Which email address did you use? Not mine. Please advise urgently as I suspect that your response above is another blatant lie from VODACOM. Again. I am waiting for details of the email.

Now I just receive an email from VODACOM. "Sorry this took so long. Do you still need assistance?"
