LG G4 Software Update did not work now stuck
Hi, i have a vodacom contract i got an LG G4 from them and after about 6months the phone showed there is a software update, when i done the software update the phone switched off and when it started it showed the LG homescreen then restarts it does this continuously.
I have googled what the problem is and there are many with the same problem the LG G4 bootloop error. I took it into vodacom repairs to get it fixed after a day i went back and they told me that my phone is beyond repairable because it has water damage.
I know for a fact it cannot be waterdamaged as i just did an update now they don't want to fix it. So i phoned LG and they said if vodacom says its water damaged i have to pay for a new chip so i do not have a phone but i am paying every month for it. LG even admits that the boot loop error is a hardware issue please see this link: https://www.androidauthority.com/lg-admits-g4-bootloop-problem-hardware-fault-669603/
So if LG knows there is a hardware issue they should fix mine and i do not have to pay for it as it is the companies fault.
Please help
Thanks a lot
