"Let's Talk" magazine should be called "Let's Lie"
On the market for 4 top of the range cell phones, I visit Vodacom in Greenstone Mall. I apply for two new contracts, and choose the contracts based on the phones I want (specifically an iPhone SE and a Samsung S7. I leave all the necessary paperwork with Salesperson A, and off I go. Two days later I contact Salesperson A, who knows nothing about me, despite my attempts to remind him. I revisit the store and approach Salesperson B, who makes the same promises, but does tell me that the iPhoneSE is out of stock. Off I go. I return (AGAIN two days later without notifications) to the store, to find no Salesperson B, who's been out of the store for over an hour. I approach Salesperson C, who makes a few calls and PROMISES me that my next choice, and iPhone6 will be available this week Tuesday. So two weeks later, and numerous calls later, I've just been advised that iPhone6 is also out of stock and 3 week backorder. Thats the iPhoneSE and iPhone6, advertised in the "Lets Talk" magazine, and both are out of stock or 3 week backorder. This despite the shocking (non-existent) customer service at the Greenstone branch. Why advertise these products and have no stock of it? I have been a Vodacom Customer for 18 years. At this stage I think it's time to move to another not-so-arrogant Cellular provider.
