Lets Escalate this Vodacom
On the 7th of October 2024 my phone was ******, I called Vodacom on the 8th of October 2024 and had the card blocked. i tried to activate the sim and it said SIM not compatable with this network, i left it and tried again the next day and the same response, i called the number and a man named Zinthle answered and told me that my number was given to him when he went in to do a SIM swop. We both battled to resolve this through the call center and were told to go back in person to Northgate Vodacom, we arrived and got no help. this was now the 30th of October that we went to the store. I am now saying that my rights (that is read out in terms of the Popi act are read out at every call made) was violated and my personal information was given to a 3rd party without my consent and Vodacom needs to cancel this contract that is up for upgrade in March at their cost. My 15 year old child uses this number and I do not want him to have this number as we live in dark times and I have no idea who else has this number. I have not had the SIM since the 7th of Oct and have aready been billed once and will now be billed again for the second month for a number or sim that I do not have. I have been calling almost everyday, I have posted on Facebook and have been told every time that "We are escalating this" where has it been escalated when no has resolved this? I have spoken to these people at Vodacom that have all escalated this, Yolandi, Jasper, Wayne, Yougashni, Andrea and a few more whose names I did not take down. This is the most disgusting service ever
