Layers and layers for frustration with Vodacom

It's sad that we have to go to a public forum and complain to get assistance from Vodacom. Even that does not work every time. My first complaint a while back was responded to by Vodacom with a telephone call and someone determined to change the complaint into a compliment.

My current complaint (http://hellopeter.com/vodacom/complaints/vodaom-help-desk-unhelpful-easier-to-stonewall-***) logged around the 8th of March was met with an SMS informing me they were investigating the matter with Corporate Cancellations....and then NOTHING. No reference number and no call back. You can't respond to an SMS so this is just another frustrating experience with Vodacom (to add to many). If I can help it I'll never be a Vodacom customer in the future.

Conversely, our company has been cancelling a few MTN contracts as well and out of the blue I received notification initiated by them that one of the cancelled accounts is in credit and they want to arrange to refund.

My experience with Vodacom is that they are a big corporate bully that don't care about customer satisfaction because they can afford to.
