Lawyers Letter of Demand After ***** Was Confirmed

A contract was created using a **** ID without my knowledge at CNA Eastgate. I was billed by Vodacom and I phoned to have this cancelled immediately and reversed the transaction at the bank. I sent all documents including Police Affidavit, Stamped ID, Police Case Number, Even a copy of the **** ID used (supp**** by CNA) and a CCTV captured image of the actual ******** while he was doing this. After numerous 30 minute to 1 hour phonecalls to Vodacom answering machines and eventual operators, over approximately 6 months, they eventually told me that the contract had been cancelled due to the ***** and they apologized for the inconvenience. Now approximately 3 months later, I received an email from VVM stating that my account has been handed over to them and Vodacom no longer has any further effect on this. I apparently owe R12300 odd and if I dont pay, I have been threatened to be blacklisted. Vodacom staff who dealt with me obviously did NOT do their F&*king jobs with this regard and most didnt even know what to do. Machines always ask for the contract phone number for reference but I of course didnt have the number to continue most of the time and constantly had to re-phone.
