Language options not honoured

I have been phoning Vodacom customer service and each time the system gives me language options to choose from. I chose Afrikaans each time and not once has my selection been honoured. My call just gets transferred to an operator who automatically converse in English. Why give me options if Vodacom is not able to honour my language option?
