LACK OF OWNERSHIP OF ACCOUNTABILITY

I took out an additional contract for a laptop on April 26th, 2017. The laptop has since crashed [January, 6th, 2018. I went into the Vodacom Store at Mall@Reds on the 7th, January where all I was provided with was the telephone number of the Lenova Warranty Department which I contacted on the 8th. Only to be informed they cant find my laptop on their system and will need to contact the manufacturer. I have just contacted the Vodacom branch and spoke to Angelique, who I found to be rude and lacking of interest in a product her store provided me with. She informed me that there is nothing she can do!!!!! Where is my WARRANTY - which will expire in just under 4 months.

Platinum Warranty claim their system is down after promising they would have a response within 24 hours as they needed to contact the manufacturer. No one has at any point attempted to contact me to keep me updated - this includes **********

I am of the opinion that because Vodacom invoice me monthly and I pay Vodacom directly there should be more accountability as well as assistance on the part of the "seller" VODACOM!!!!
