lack of communication

I got my cellphone upgrade in Port Elizabeth, Tuesday 10th November 2015.. On That Tuesday I was told if there is a fault with the phone and I bring it within the first seven days they would replace the phone. I accepted these conditions and went on my way.

On Friday the 13th November I had to go to Cape Town and would be driving back the Monday 16th November, on the trip back I was using the phones GPS Maps and the phone would freeze every time I use the GPS Maps, I also noticed there was an intermitted problem with the unlock screen.

So been the 7th day I knew I would not be back in Port Elizabeth on time so I called Vodacom Moffet-on-Main and they told me to take my Sim Card out before 17:00 that evening so that the Phone will not register the 8th day when I bring it back to them on the 17th November.

I call on, Friday 20th November, the 3rd day with no phone, and I was told I need to take my sim card to Vodacom Customer care at Greenacres, in order to unlock device. What upsets me is that took me calling them on the 3rd day, to get them to tell me this. So phone still has not been assess.

this is a complete lack of communication from a communication company. unacceptable
