Lack of accountability - Poor Experience - False Advertising

I signed up for a contract with Vodacom last October with a deal that included a Nokia 5 handset, 1st month subscription free, 10 gig data once -off and a set of skull candy head phones. At the end of the 1st month I was billed 3 times my premium. When queried with Vodacom, it was an error on their part. Nothing has been done since and I haven't been reimbursed yet. The skull candy headphones I have still not received. The store I signed up with has changed ownership and nobody there can as they don't know how to assist me. I have been given the previous store managers contact details but that is proving to be completely helpless. I called the customer care to cancel this contract as it is clearly a breach on the part of Vodacom and was advised I need to call ********** . That number is only for Vodacom outlet owners and requires a number before you can speak to anyone. Obviously I can't get any further.

I posted a review here a few months back and was advised someone will call me. No one has. I can safely say Telkom Mobile and MTN who I have held contracts with in the past are a way more efficient. The state of decay that Vodacom is currently in is sickening.

I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY CONTEMPLATING A VODACOM CONTRACT TO STAY FAR AWAY!! The service is exceptionally poor, the network performance is not as good as Telkom Mobile and they are all a bunch of *****! *********** staff that make errors like adding to your premium what they were supposed to subtract. Nobody will take responsibility for anything and when you finally find someone who will, they will not call you back and force you chase them up. You will be told that nobody will be able to give you a time frame in which your query can be to resolved.

I will never ever take a VODACOM contract again! I had better experiences with all of the other network providers in recent years!
