Just Don't Care

I have been trying for over a month to get a settlement letter out of Vodacom stating that the contract **********ly taken out in my name 2 years ago has been investigated and the case closed, so that I can remove my blacklisting with the credit bureaus. I have spent over 6 hours on the phone and been to three different stores (Hillcrest, Westwood and Gateway). I even drove 60km to Gateway as I was led to believe it was a customer care walk in store (which it is not anymore). I was told on two occasions by the accounts department that the request has been submitted and that I should receive the letter within 48 hours. On the second occasion I said I would stay on the line until it was emailed to me, and Themba promptly hung up on me. What great service? Out of desperation, I have also emailed the ***** investigation and legal departments, and have no response despite the promise to come back to me within 5 working days. Having exhausted every other alternative, I have had to turn to hellopeter in the hopes that someone at Vodacom would make an effort to help me out.
