My wife renewed her contract very recently. Thank you Emmanuel for a great job and a lot of effort. Unfortunately the device stopped coming on after less than 2 months into the contract. We took it back to Vodacom Mall of the North where we did the deal. Mall of the North send us to Savanah Centre as this is where broken phones are handed in. We went to Savanah, signed a doc and the phone was on its way. Roughly a week later we got a brand new phone back. Fantastic. The previous phone had a screen protector which we felt that Vodacom should replace and pay for seeing that it was the device that they promoted to us and from which they make money that broke. The response was that we signed a doc that stated we must remove all accessories. I immediately went to a different store to install a screen protector as my wife is a kindergarten teacher and the phone might fall. Therefore, I don't want a screen protector from Vodacom any longer, but here is a few friendly customer service suggestions: 1. If a client brings a phone in to where it was purchased, don't send them to another branch. People are busy and you should respect the fact that they don't have the time and fuel to drive around between your branches. 2. When a client hands in a phone, don't just push a form under their noses to indemnify Vodacom. It is the most simple and courteous act to just inform the client that all accessories must be removed including the screen protector. People don't read - do you read the terms and conditions of every document you sign. Nevertheless, thank you for the new phone. Thank you Emmanuel for always giving us brilliant service. Have a good day.
