You must sit on the phone for 45mins to speak to the accounts departm to find out why your debit order was not taken off. To get informed they have changed computer systems and that they are aware of the problem. when you ask them to email you to say this is the problem and they are trying to sort this out, having a record, this can not be done from this department. Then you put on hold to speak to customer care, plus minus 2months ago I had a conversation with customer care, and they said they would escalate it and would phone me with 48 hours I am still waiting. I don't understand a view things, first of all you phone them to find out why your debit order has not gone off. This is a question no one can answer, the bank says you must not give out your ID nr over the phone, where as Vodacom forces you, otherwise they have an attitude oh well then we can't help you. The new Credit Act Law, is quite clear, how can Vodacom charge you an amount as agreed and then up the amount without your consent! The accounts departm can not answer this. Customer care as you know what they say, then you still wait. If we start with companies like Vodacom coming right, then hopefully we won't have to go to Junk status.
