Ive been waiting forever to get my number back

On the 21.05.2015 I went to Vodacom Shop (Workshop - Durban) to buy a new phone and to have my old number unblocked and to do a SIM swap. The consultant did that and told me that all is in order, I will have to wait a couple of hours to have my number back. I have waited 28 hours but nothing has happened. I have called Vodacom call center several times, at first they said no SIM swap was requested on my number, the agent I spoke to said she will do the SIM swap, it will be in order after 3 hours, the hours is gone now but nothing. I have called them again, the person I spoke is now saying I will have to wait another 24 hours.... why it has to be like this? why I'm still with Vodacom?
