Item shown in Advert did not match item delivered

On Monday 27 November , Vodacom ran some Monday madness (cyber monday) specials which i was very interesting in , and just after midnight the deals got released.

One deal was for a Redmi phone and a gaming console. The picture showed a Nintendo Switch device as can be seen and i immediately ordered the deal as it was a good price for this much anticipated device. I received email confirmation and informed someone would contact me.

By Wednesday , no one had called and so i called to follow up and was informed that the order was never closed. On opening a ticket with ********** Tracy Latchanna assisted me and the order was placed and a delivery was received on Monday 4th, one week after placing order.

The Cellphone was correct (Redmi 4A) however i received a Super Nintendo ( valued at +-R1700) and not the switch (valued at +-R6000). AS the picture indicated a switch , this is false advertising and i rep**** to Tracy with ticket #22586. She helped to a point and then stopped replying over 4 days ago. I have tried calling the call centre 3 times to speak to someone but all inform me that i need to email vadmin as there is no phone. I left messages 2 days ago for Tracy to call me and still received no calls. I then logged another 2 emails with ********** and received zero response.

The reality is that a picture was used to advertise an item, creating a false expectation on my behalf that i was to receive a switch . I then ignored the sales on dionwired and takealot as i was getting a switch already , thus losing out on potential savings. I would therefore like to understand from Vodacom how this took place and what is the correct approach for me to deal with said complaint as i would like to find a solution.
