It's always water damage!

I read the review from Samsung J3 screen - Refuse to repair or replace.
Published by nadine-victoria-becker on Apr 28, 2017 and the exact same thing happened to my son's J3 that he only gets to use over school holidays. He was watching a YouTube clip over the March school holidays and the screen started flickering and progressively got worse. The phone was also purchased in December 2016 so is this coincidence?

I took the phone to Vodacom in Kenilworh centre who sent it away to be assessed. Guess what? The 'get-out-of-jail' excuse of water damage, this after the phone is locked up in a safe! To add insult to injury I had to pay R57 for Vodacom to tell me to pay R1400 to have the screen repaired. Thanks Vodacom. That's what I get for being a customer since 1999.
