Issue with Vodacom over 2 Huawei Y5 phones purchased on the same day

Good day,

I would just like to address a matter that has been escalating since June 2020 to date.

I've purchased my daughter and son both Huawei Y5 cellphones for their birthday last year at Cellular City, Canal Walk.On arrival they said they don't have these phones in stock when we were in store, a few minutes later a sales person calls to say they have 2 in stock and we can collect. We collected the following day. Since June both these phones has been giving us issues, apps closing etc. we have regularly gone to the shop for quick fixes but was later referred to Voadcom in Canal Walk, here software updates was done, new motherboard was inserted into these phones a few times and the phones where sent away but still had the same issue.

We have become very frustrated because we bring these phones to the store for repairs more than its actually been used, to me I could have rather purchased a secondhand phone than having so much problems with a new phone, we drive out so much petrol every month dropping and fetching the phones or having small fixes done at the end we could have purchased cash phones or had a better deal somewhere else. We have had to make countless calls and no one comes back or if they do they cant assist. We have made contact with the repair manager who also tried to assist but he also ends up at a dead end, He really tried his best making contact to give feedback . He has also sent several emails ,when I contact the service center they say they dont see it, we have even given them the reference numbers but still they say they cant see the emails from the store.

We were notified that the phones where again sent back to the store after we informed Vodacom that we are not happy with their services and the equipment they have sold us, we at the point where would like to end the contract and would like a refund as this was a very painful and stressful few months and we do not wish to continue with this back and forth issue of these phones. The purpose of these phones was to assist the kids with their schoolwork when we at work but having had these issues since the beginning it was more a burden than a help.

Can you please assist
