Issue Still Not Properly Addressed

I have been trying to find out about fibre internet for Johannesburg South. Vodacom's service in this regard has been awful. The problems are as follows:

1. I have been specifically told by Vodacom customer service that there are NO PLANS for fibre internet in Johannesburg South. Despite this, I have discovered that the Meyersdal Eco Estate is receiving fibre internet. How come Vodacom then tells neighbouring suburbs that we are not eligible? How did the Eco Estate manage to get fibre installed, when I have been trying for almost a year to convince them to do likewise?

2. I tried to phone the fibre support line, but ended up running in circles. The default voice prompts only lead to the business internet line, which means that the consultants tell you that you have phoned the wrong number for residential lines and tell you that you will be transferred to the correct call centre. Once the transfer has taken place, the voice prompts lead you straight back to the business centre.

3. Any and all replies from Vodacom have not extended past requested the address at which I want fibre internet installed. It's clear that Vodacom do not actually read the support query, they have a standard reply that all customers receive in an attempt to mollify the complainant.

It's high time that Vodacom and the other service providers get their collective act together and start upgrading our network in accordance with the "world class service" that we keep on hearing about in the media.
