Is Vodacom trying to rob me..

I am of the opinion that Vodacom staff are trained to be as stupidly *********** as humanly possible when it comes to cancelling a contract. My wife contacted Vodacom on the 25th of June 2019 to request the cancellation of the service(if you can call it that... service is a foreign concept to this company). Anyway come July she contacts them after noticing that her minutes have been topped-up, to which they reply that she never requested the cancellation and that if she would like to cancel she will need to give 30 days notice.. I am trying extremely hard to not use inappropriate language at this point but ARE YOU @#$%%#!!!!! KIDDING ME!!!??? So she tells them to listen to the recordings and get back to her with the correct response.. They never contact her and she does all the follow-up work, constantly having to explain herself to every imbecile she gets through to because it seems that even in this technologically advanced era, Vodacom still fails to communicate internally. Thankfully my wife pre-empted this incompetence and put a halt on the debit order.. Should we be CONCERNED that maybe Vodacom is putting up an ACT, pretending not to know how to follow-through on a cancellation order just to milk the Client one last time!!?
