Is vodacom still a option anywhere in SA ?

Vodacom signal is non existent anymore in hillcrest,kloof, gillits and upper highway area in durban in general. I have 5 Sims with vodacom and 4 contracts and if it wasn't for wifi calling I would probably not be able to use my phone at all.

Last I checked vodacom told me that they were using a mtn tower in my area and mtn didn't pay the electric bill so the tower was switched off.

But my mtn sim card has full 5g here and everyone in the neighlbourhood is migrating to mtn while vodacom can't even get a otp sms delivered.

Just sick of vodacom. We don't live in a small rural area. We live in a big city.

What happens when my wife is on the road and breaks down and needs to call me. Luck would have it at a 50/50 chance of her getting cell phone reception on any given day with a vodacom sim card.

It's a dangerous situation.

And I can't imagine how bad it is in other places if it's gotten so bad here.

I'm just going to have to switch to mtn.

Not much else I can do.
